PARENTS

Special Needs Parents have a divorce rate of 75-85%.  The Parent Support Group will address common issues involved with parenting a special needs child.  The monthly group will also be a safe place to share struggles and challenges and will create community.  The goal is to provide monthly marriage counseling at a reduced rate to couples who are involved.

siblings

While parents are meeting in their support group, siblings will have the opportunity to find a safe space to connect with other kids who understand what they are going through.  This group will be led by a professional who can help the kids as issues arise.  If any kids are in crisis we hope to be able to provide counseling to these kids.

family fun & respite

Once a quarter families will have an evening of fun with other families who support the special needs community. We will try and make these events very special for the entire family!  We also hope to provide quarterly respite nights for the parents. They will drop the kids off to have a night out.  The themed nights will super serve our special kiddos and their siblings.

advocacy

A group of people who feel led to represent special needs community to try to create new legislation or just represent families or special needs kids where needed.
